My husband, Aitzaz Manzoor, is 39 years old. We are living in Karachi, Pakistan. He is the sole breadwinner of our family; me and our two young children – an infant son and a 7-year-old daughter – are all dependent on him.
I am creating this fundraiser for this man we all so depend on – emotionally and financially. We cannot see him in pain.
Every breath has become a struggle for Aitezaz.
My husband has been diagnosed with pulmonary edema.
Pulmonary edema is a dangerous medical disease that needs immediate medical attention. The illness makes it harder for the person to breathe because of extra fluid in the lungs. This fluid makes it difficult for the lungs to function properly.
This illness can take his life.
Every breath hurts him and he is sometimes on the verge of giving up.
But I cannot let him give up.
If not treated timely, pulmonary edema can cause serious problems, such as respiratory failure and even death.
We need to take immediate action.
The doctor at National Medical Hospital has prescribed medicines and has recommended bronchoscopy for Aitzaz. This exam will help us identify the severity of the problem, the condition of his lungs, and provide the information required to choose the best course of treatment.
The ever-rising cost of medical care is making it impossible for us to get him the required treatment. Aitzaz’s declining health makes it harder for him to go to work every day. But he is trying his best to bring food to the table for the kids.
I want to help ease his pain and help him get healthy.
Aitzaz is also suffering from other health issues, including liver and kidney conditions, complicating his case.
Unfortunately, we had to stop his liver therapy due to financial issues.
At the moment, the condition of my husband’s lungs is so bad that I decided to turn to all of you for help.
At the moment, we need to raise funds for his medicines and bronchoscopy. After the bronchoscopy, the doctor will be able to determine what the next steps will be.n
As a mobile repairer, my husband’s income is barely enough to make ends meet, let alone pay for expensive medical treatments.
Aitzaz is in a critical situation and requires urgent medical attention.
He is too young, and our kids need their dad.
I need him.
With your support, Aitzaz can have a chance at a healthy life. No matter the size of the donation, it can make a significant difference in Aitzaz’s life.
It will let the children have their father with them.
I request you to donate generously and spread the word.
Together, the community can help save Aitzaz Manzoor’s life.
Every penny and every day is important for us.
